I honestly haven't heard of that many OEM HID's that DO have autoleveling, but it is around. I think it's mostly on higher-end vehicles, though. Pretty sure Subarus and Acuras and the like don't.

Serge, your lights just rock. You might get pulled over for them, but it'll be so the cop can ask where you got them done....

I can't actually make it work like that ... my drls can't be on when the lights are on, it's either one or the other.

That would be pretty cool! I have a couple relatives that live down some dark dirt roads. A few weeks ago I was actually thinking about a way to get all of my forward facing white lights on at the same time. Could be useful for me from time to time.

Ha! I used to have an old hand-held halogen spotlight in my car. I just left it plugged in for when I wanted to look at an animal off the road or whatever. Then, one of the kids was playing with it and forgot to turn it off. This is bad. Halogens get REALLY freakin' hot. To top it off, he put it on the floor, face down, on top of some old paper towels. It's not fun driving in rush hour traffic and suddenly having an 8-year old yelling the car is on fire and smoke starting to billow up from the back seat.....

We got pulled over, stomped the fire out. But geeez...never left it plugged in again.

Gotta pay to play sometimes. make sure you know your laws too. If in doubt call the pd and ask about the statute. Playing smart helps too. Correct housings and such and no crazy colors.

Texas says that you can have aftermarket hids and projector headlights. I live close to oklahoma and i was even rocking hids with oem headlights with no problems but when i went to get sticker inspection the inspector was giving me aalot of bs and he didnt want to give me my sticker but i had my new projectors in theb backseat and he finally passed it. Just do what i do and get the article of tx law about hids and boom case won and you can tell cops go ( insert words here ).

Hey John,

Would it be too much to ask for a couple of output shots (low/high) at night against a wall?

Here ya go. So my projectors are not made for HID eventhough they came togather and have the DOT stamp?
