So I'm putting my newly acquired TomTom 3.5" in the slot where my Onstar unit was. However, I can't get the suction cup to mount to anything in the slot! I'm thinking about getting a piece of plexiglass and cutting it out/drilling the holes and fitting it into the section. Any ideas ?? thanks guys

hot glue it in place? You can almost always peel clear hot glue off later.

alright I finally got it all installed. I stuck with my original plan and made an insert out of plexiglass that I mounted the suction cup onto. It mounts flush now and it looks sick! I'll post pics asap
