Hi Folks --
Just bought a 2019 Yukon Denali 4WD and I "assumed" it had Car Play. But, when I tried to connect my iPhone for it, I see no joy. My car came to me MISSING the "Infotainment Manual". I looked through the VIN decoder data and I don't see Car Play. However, I find some online references that seem to indicate all 2019 Yukon would have Car Play.

Is there a way to find out? Am I missing something in the setup?

Thanks for any help!
Cheers,
Mark

19s should have it, unless someone swapped out the radio at some point and didn't put all the factory stuff back together right. My only regret in my 15 was not buying a newer one, i wish it had AA and carplay and the HUD. But such is life

HUD came with my 2015 so it was an option.

Apple car play is easily achievable if you really want it.

All the options i've seen for adding AA either don't give you a factory level of integration, or come at the same price tag as just putting in a better head unit unless you go through and source all the parts the individually

To be honest I never looked into AA, but yeah CarPlay cost me about $700 for factory integration. it was all OEM equipment. I wasn’t interested in any aftermarket stuff for this particular truck. I was able to sell my radio modules on eBay for a couple bucks too.

The site I used isn’t even in business anymore but there are still some sources that will provide the service. Even if you score all the parts yourself, you have to get the radio modules flashed to your vin so you’ll be sending the stuff out anyway. Unless someone local to you can do it.

Yeah, while i would like AA, the cost is a bit on the high side for factory integration in my book, when i could buy a bigger and better screen with an aftermarket HU in the same price brakcet

I don't think you can get a 2019 Denali without CarPlay/AA. It's probably another issue you're having.

Are you trying to connect this with a USB cable or wirelessly?
This is the key question. I don’t know if 2019 is any different but my 2018 only has wired CarPlay. I had to buy an adapter from Temu to use it wirelessly.
