Howdy from East Texas.

I've recently picked up this 2006 Tahoe PPV Z56. It's originally a Fulton, Georgia Police unit. It's got 277k miles on it. It's got a rebuilt transmission from 03/24 and the motor has (probably) been replaced sometime, it pulls hard.

I've replaced all the brakes, disc's and pads.
Looks like it probably could use a set of rebuild front calipers.

The Bushings are shot. Anyone know what a full set of bushings runs installed?

A/C is non functional, but that's to be expected. Also the front speakers don't work. Interior is in fantastic shape for It's age. 1000003656.jpg1000003654.jpg1000003650.jpg1000003635.jpg1000003632.jpg

Your PPV looks like it has aged very well, nice find!

If you're gonna rebuild the front calipers, this is as good a time as any to upgrade to the 2010 Suburban front brake kit:
Front caliper brackets
Front calipers
Front rotors
Front pads
Feel free to reuse your '06 brake fluid hoses, or upgrade those as you like.
It's THE easiest, simplest, most plug & play front brake upgrade EVER. A child could do it, EVERYONE should.
Once you price it out, you'll wonder why it wasn't done in 2011. Better late than never ...

Thanks. My wife stumbled upon it. Guy wanted 6k, but I talked him down to 4k.

I own an Emergency vehicle upfitting company, so I'm going to use it as a mobile installation rig. It'll also be used as a demo (staying period correct on the lights/equipment) and every so often running a funeral ****** for a friend when he has a local procession.

Here's some interior pictures, ignore the trash, I had just driven from San Antonio to Dallas. No cup holders.

If you do the brake upgrade--which is great BTW, have them on my 03--you'll need 17's or bigger. The 16s will be too small to fit with the newer calipers. Looks like you already have the bigger PPV wheels on.

Yeah it got the 07 and up 17's already. I half want to see what the 21 and up 20inchers would look like on this body style
