I kept looking at it and realized how incomplete it looked without the grille inserts. I left them out to make it easier to install the trans cooler, but that project will still be a while. So I went ahead and installed that black grille I bought so long ago.

Then, I used some #0000 steel wool to scuff the water pump pulley so it'd match the other pulleys:
