I want to put in some 12000k H.I.D's for my low beams. With my aftermarket headlights, the low beam housing already looks like it's meant for H.I.D bulbs (sealed lens) but i'm not 100% sure if it will work..

Will I be able to buy a kit like this and just bolt it in? Seems really simple.

Thanks for any help :)

If you got those headlights from ebay more than likely they are not meant for hid, however they will still work fine. All you need is that kit and it will bolt in fine. If you want cheaper ones check out vvme, thats what I have and I have had 0 problems. If you want a set of good projectors check for some used denali ones imo

i would stick with the 35w and not go 55w then, just to be safe.

My suggestion is , as to my experience, firstly check out the right HIDs for your headlights at http://www.vvme.com/page.html?chapter=4&id=36 ..then decide the specific HID type (standard or slim digital hid kit ) and the hid color...
the higher color temperature (kelvin), the fewer lumens for the illumination....

then go to ebay for your vvme HID kit, it is $5 cheaper than their website...

i ordered 2 sets of vvme 6k and 43k on ebay.. 0 problems until now....
