H11 to H9 conversion.

Anybody try converting their head light bulb from H11 to an H9? From what I have read its a 65 watt bulb that produces 2xxx lumens versus the H11 at 13xx at 55W. As always more wattage could lead to different issues. You also have to modify the connectors in two spots.:hmmm2:

Have you thought about retro fitting the housings to projectors? 65 as you said might be too much

Yea I want retros but the dollars are not there at the moment. I was hoping there would be a Xmas sale but I never saw one.

Well I did the H11 to H9 conversion on mine the other day, and did a 2 hour round trip ride with 0 Problems.

Light Output is def better than with the H11's.
