Im planning on purchasing some halo/projectorheadlights for my hoe and while browsing through i noticed that some have clear lenses and some have blue lenses. Is there any difference between the blue and clear lenses or due theyy produce the same color light output? Also, im thinking about the blue oracle halos but i cant find any on the net for 02 tahoes. Do i need to have them custom made?

It's probably not so much the lens that is blue, but the bulbs. And no, they don't produce the same output. Blue may look cool, but it isn't the best for lighting purposes. In fact, it's actually pretty bad. Completely washes out on wet/rainy roads and has very high glare to on-coming traffic.

Get projectors and HID's in the 4300-5000K range and you'll have great light. Do your homework on aftermarket lights before buying based on looks. There is a huge amount of crap out there compared to lights that are actually half-way decent.

Yes they need to be custom made you can either send them in and they will Retro fit them for you or if your real daring (and want to save some cash) then order the parts and go at it from home, there's be better ccfl halos out there. Oracle is the halo they use on 2010 camaros with the red demon eyes..I'm going to get my deposit done once I get them :)...if your gonna do it..get depo's first there not to expensive!

Good luck with that!! I wouldn't buy aftermarket Halo headlights if i were u. There projectors usually suck. Personally go buy some Depots or TYC projectors and then like stated above, get some Halos custom fabd in em. Also, just FYI, blue lights are prohibited in most states to be visible from front or rear of vehicles.

Does anyone know where I can get black housing depo's for NBS without the lines going horizontal across them? It may be just me but those lines make it look cheap, well at least on a nali.

Blue is also the worst color for eye fatigue as far as lighting goes.
