The box supposedly provides extra airflow during heavy acceleration, I wasn't really diggin it, so I bought a 2'' RUBBER (do NOT buy pvc) tube end and a hose clamp. All i had to do was loosen 2 screws and it was gone! It also adds a lot of throatiness to the engine under good acceleration now too!

oh ps youll need a 10MM socket with extension to get the box off.
