Picked up my 2015 Yukon XL Denali a few days ago. When reviewing the owner manual found it interesting that on page 2-20 it explained Hands-Free operation of rear lift gate via kicking motion beneath the rear bumper,"IF EQUIPPED". Are any Yukons equipped at this time or will it be added in future?

We tend to push the grocery cart out of the grocery store to the car rather than carrying out the groceries, so it's not a feature we are really concerned with. I do believe there will be a retrofit kit available at some point in time though.

They are supposedly coming out with this feature in the 2015.5's or 2016's. Pretty jacked up they put it in the 2015 manual though... especially when it isn't included.

Yea... Pretty sad right?? And the cost to GM is prob less than $20 for the sensor and a little programing time to link it to the key fob presence interface...
