Hey all, I had some misfire issues last week that were easily resolved with a new set of spark plug wires. During that process, when I was getting CEL codes, I noticed that the 3-4 shift was pretty harsh. All that has been resolved, no more codes. I towed for about 250-300 miles last weekend with my enclosed trailer, but when I'm over 3k RPM the 3-4 shift is pretty tough. No codes after my trip, motor seems to be running nicely, but that 3-4 shift makes me cringe. If I let off the throttle real quick right before it shifts, it's not as harsh, but I feel like this might be a lingering electrical gremlin? Should I pull the battery and let it sit for a bit to discharge and relearn shift points? Doesn't seem to be a problem when I'm not towing or in tow/haul mode.
