recently my battery died on me so i tossed it. and put a red top optima in it. and everything was fine. but later while driving my voltage gauge would shake or drop or go up. which from what i hear is nothing rare. moving on

no matter what i do, or how long i drive hot, cold. when i try to crank the engine spins over slow like the battery is almost dead. for a second or two then start right up. and little by little it has gotten worse. but IT STILL CRANKS on the first try.

had the battery and alternator checked. im at a loss. i figure its just a loose ground r something but lemme know what you guys think im overeacting

check all connections, even down at the starter. And maybe a cheap insurance, replace both positive and negative cables.

could be a worn starter. Have a charging system test done. Those are usually free with a oil change.
