Yesterday, after some Interstate driving, I pulled into town and stopped at a light. When I took off, the shift from first to second was hard. I could tell it slipped quite a bit, then dropped in. It didn't matter how soft I drove, it did the same thing. This morning, on my way to work it was fine. I am thinking it's a heat issue and I am ordering a cooler, but could it be something else too?

Another quick question, when putting the cooler on, which is the inlet hose and which is outlet hose going to the transmission?

leave the both lines off ,put the ends in a bottle or something to catch the fluid . the one with the fluid is the outlet from the tranny . also on the coolers the bottom line is the inlet for the cooler. thats the way mine is

The bottom? I figured that you would want it to flow from top to bottom. I don't know how much difference it makes though.

Does Dex VI work to fill the cooler and lines with? Or will mixing that with whatever's in there not a good thing?
