Has anyone enlarged the wheel wells for larger tires?

The max tire size looks disproportionately small on my 2016 yukon. Wanted to see if anyone else increased the size of their wheel well to put on 35’s or 37’s without a lift. Thx!

I don't think so. 35 is an awefully big tire for no lift. With the pressboard material for a fender liner, you could just take it out or trim it? There are threads about trimming the fender liner for 305/55-20s with a level.

But I think a 32 or 33 is about as big as you can go with no level--depending on wheel offset. The body starts getting in the way past 33.

KPW is spot on. And you really will need a leveling kit at that size. Offset is key but the leveling kit is a must.

Thank you. No problem on a 1.5-2” leveling kit, just didn’t want to jack it up tall. For 35’s I think theres no getting around cutting the metal wheel well which makes it a big commitment.

I wonder how much the those bushwacker fender flares would let you cut the wheel wells and still be able to mount. With a SUV this big, its bizarre the max wheel size is so small.

That looks awesome. Are those Method wheels, what size and offset? I have Method Double Standards on my Land Cruiser and love them.
