Has anyone ever removed the catalytic convertor because the guy who said would do the dual exhaust was asking if I want to remove the catalytic converter because he said it helps restrict flow and I get better mileage and more smooth torque curve. Has anyone ever down this road?

Plenty of people do it but Ive read it doesn't make a big difference in newer/late model trucks. I read your other post and my advice is take it back if your having trouble and need it for emissions...JMO. IDK if its true duals or single to dual but either put the cat back on or get dual cats
