Has anyone tried these rotors

Im going to check into the bleeding of the abs pump and hydro system before i buy anything-seems like the pedal is their it just doesnt stop.Going to call the dealer about the bleeding also with the tech 2-maybe im missing something.

Wondering if these are worth the extra cost.Im sick of my brakes they suck.I have power slot rotors and good pads but it still doesn't stop like i want it to.I also put the stainless lines helped a bit.Overall disgusted with this braking system need an upgrade.I couldnt even get the antilock brakes to activate today from 60mph.I have the hydroboost system if that gets asked.If anyone has tried these rotors what do you think.Pics???https://www.autoanything.com/brakes/61A3943A0A0A2635083.aspx

I used the Baer Eradispeed +1 on my 2005 Avalanche on all 4 corners with a Magacharger Blower and 22" wheels and they made a huge difference to the stopping distance, the reason they work so well is the kit includes brackets that move the caliper further out from the center of the hub. I would buy them again but my 2018 Yukon came equipped from the factory with great brakes.

After you get your brake pedal adjusted per all the above suggestions, I suggest a set of Performance Friction Carbon Metallic front pads. Once these pads heat up (one stop) they work great. I have used these on a lot of my cars for years.

I just replaced the calipers, rotors, and pads on my 09 Tahoe with a front and rear package from PowerStop (link). As part of the project, I "upgraded" to a GM Dot4 fluid from my local Chevy dealer, as what was originally put in my Tahoe had been discontinued or was otherwise unavailable (Dot3 Super 11). Flushed the whole system. When I was done my brakes sucked. Spongy, had to pump the pedal several times to get firm pedal. It was like my master cylinder was loosing it's seals.

Long story short...

I researched the MSDS on my new and improved brake fluid vs. the original and found that it had a much higher viscosity than the original OEM stuff. This was causing issues with the ABS not activating properly. After some more research of other fluid's MSDS I found and installed a brake fluid by ATE (link) which had a slightly lower viscosity than the original OEM. After fully flushing the system with the ATE fluid, my brakes are amazing!

Not sure what fluid you used but, it made a huge change in my application.

Those rotors you've picked out... they look positively Bad Ass!

Hmm trying to get 1 of my friends who is a gm dealer mechanic to come over to my house with a tech 2 and try it when its cold it doesnt stop at all takes at least 2 or 3 times before it starts to become a firmer pedal.After that seems almost normal pedal just doesnt slow this thing down at all.Im going to figure it out.

So i got the tahoe back today-and all i can say is finally thank god i have great brakes now.They checked everything and found a tiny bit of air in the rear brakes they said.I put the power stop calipers on from a 08 tahoe and the baer sport brake kit with their pads on.It feels like a different tahoe.Here is the link for anyone that is looking to upgrade their front rotors.https://www.autoanything.com/cart

Here is 1 of the rotors with only 400 miles on it doesnt look like alot of the surface area of the pad isnt even touching the rotor.

To a large extent, that's normal. Pads aren't honed to the same degree as the rotor.

I was looking into that Baer kit before I bought Wilwoods and that’s kind of what I was thinking- the contact area would remain the same since the calipers and pads were unchanged so it didn’t seem like the braking would be that much better even though the rotors were bigger. Did they come with relocation brackets for the calipers? Anyway, Im glad to hear you finally got the brakes working good.
