Does Anyone have one, or used one of these ? OBDLink SX Scan Tool

I'm debating weather to get a hand held scan tool, or something like this computer based type.
BTW, I've never used a scan tool before.

I have this for when I need to check or clear something quick. I use it at work and for personal use at home

I use a GM Tech 1, Tech 2 and now a Tech 3 at work. The tech 3's are all computer based now. I can check a code from my computer before I even bring that car into the shop.

I'd like to get something like what sunlit posted before for home use. Eventually I'll get that and a EFI Live account

i have this one and bought sc xlpro with the gm add-on. while it is not bi-directional software it does a very good job on data analysis. if you dump about $1000 down you can get a pc based bi-directional software or handheld. look here for a demo of scanxl pro. http://www.palmerperformance.com/products/scanxl/index.php
This is a good advice, it's worth it to get bi-directional software right away, you'll want to have it later on anyhow.
