Other than the junk yard, anyone have an idea where I can find a brake pedal for 3/4t or 1t vehicle? I've looked everywhere online and I can't find one...I believe there may have been a small mod in '96, so I'm looking for a '97 - '99 pedal.

Thanks!!

Oop's actually it should be 68. The 68 is for an auto tranny the 69 if for the manual tranny. Got it backwards:sorry: You do have an auto tranny right?

You can float your mouse over the rpo codes for a breakdown of what application it fits.

Click on the part number to see the apllications it fits from 95-2000 even was on tahoe and suburban 4x2"s if the rpo codes match. Perhaps you can look for them at the junk yards if the build sticker is intact. Or take a wifi'ed browser with you and use compnines vin decoder for the vehicles there. Hope that helps.:sleepy10:

I would say 2wd vs. 4wd.

No noise and vehicle stops. After I did all the brakes I followed tirerack break-in procedure for hawk fronts and rotor. I got the whole system burning enough that it smelled like a oil leak on exuast. Let it cool down and all is well. Definitely want to go hydro soon but as you may have read I have two cylinders next to each other offline with 3 psi in each. Valves seem to work so I will have to take the head off soon.

BTW when the system was burning during the break-in no increase in stopping distance and no fading at all. Did it in back of the walmart where the cargo truck park. enter"38.01014,-121.867629" into google maps. went from speed bump to speed bump with a slight curve up to 45mph and down again. Kinda fun. Woke up a truck driver. security there had no gripes and said go ahead.

Damnit! Just ordered all the parts I needed. I've been calling salvage yards and NONE of them had CHEVY/GM hydroboosted parts...i was seriously astonished.

So, it looks like my install is going to be put on hold...it sucks b/c this was my only free weekend in the foreseeable future. On a positive note, I can finish up the last sensor on my efan install and get back to work on my mustang (also getting a brake overhaul).

Oh well :(

I would think you would actually have to go out and look. Did not think junkyards could remember details on individual parts that were still there.
