HD fan clutch vs severe duty fan clutch

Well guys. Been driving the xl with the severe duty. I'll be honest, I can't even hear the fan when windows are up. I think it was a good idea. Then again. The xl is not my daily. It's only for long trips. T

Well I went with the sever duty fan clutch, it does sound like a jet taking off. But the piece of mind that it's pulling more air makes me happy. I have a 04 denali xl 6.0

Not as loud as a jet but it reminds me of the school bus back in high school.
