Head unit and speaker recommendations.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone,
My truck was a previous fleet unit as a result the radio is AM-FM. All I want is a head unit with a single disc player and the ability to connect my IPOD. I also want to upgrade the factory speakers. What manufactures would you all recommend?

hu i like pioneer very easy to use and set up audio

speakes cant go wrong with alpine pioneer and kicker. all sound great on low power, hu built in amp
