when I was adding separate amp's to my factory radio I had to go with a 6 channel amp and split that off to a separate bass amp because the factory radio sends bluetooth to one channel and vehicle alerts to a another channel and backup beeps to another channel and the bass is filtered thru the factory amp to another channel as well.
in fact all of it is split thru the factory amp
learning experience... lol
Jeezus, that sounds like a headache.

it is and was, I ended up using a module behind the radio to bypass the factory amp entirely, without the factory amp connected the radio wont even turn on unless you use a module.
I wonder if this would help retain the rear screen.

Nope... I don't see anything on the market for k2's
doesn't mean it doesn't exist though if anyone was going to have it would be idatalink, you might try calling them and see what they say about it.

This harness from crutchfield looks like it has something to retain the rear aux ports.

No, none of there kits mention anything about RSE, your going to have to call and get more details about that, then let us know lol
I'm just going off what the picture for the harness says. I did talk to crutchfield and they seem to not know.

your going to need to reach out to pac or idatalink, I think idatalink would be the most knowledgeable they sell a lot more adapters than anyone and they do custom programming
they have basically everything interfaced if it can be done, I can use the maestro and do all kinds of things if I wanted to

Either way, I went ahead and ordered a head unit from crutchfield. I figure if the rear entertainment doesn't work, then I'll look at upgrading that rear screen to something that can plug into the new HU.

Either way, I wanted an upgrade. I'll figure it out.
