Anyone have info on header perfomance improvments, does mpg go upor down?
Any info would be helpful. Also overall opinions on if its worth the money.

I have Dynatech long tube headers. If your tight on money, you might want to look more for a short tube. They give the hoe a nice sound and the power really kicks in after around 2000 rpm. I dont really know about the mpgs because I have a lead foot.

imo they are worth every penny i have LPP LT W/ Y pipe and Gutted Cats, I notice a big improvement in throttle response and more power. Get some !!!

I still want to know how they effect mpgs. Heres my next question. I saw some polished stainnless ones with y pipe for 300 on ebay. Any thoughts?

Probably the single most valuable bolt on on just about any engine. I would do headers before I did anything else.

mpg still the same hasn't gone down nore up for me but then again i haven't tuned the truck yet...

Short tubes are a complete waste of money on these motors. Get lts
