i have gibson chrome coated shorties on mine. can't say how much improvement they gave as it was right after the lift, before regear (hoe was a f-in dog...) haven't replaced the Y pip or cats but did throw on a 50 series D-in D-out. they fit really well and went on pretty easy. ANYTHING has to be an improvement over those stock manifolds...

they did sound amazing as open headers though!

So I am gonna go with some shortys for the direct bolt on. Just for cost purposes and the purpose of my truck. I am wanting to get something other than stock but I am not too concerned with getting something that will make my truck faster or stronger than anyones. The shortys help a little, I know not something like longtubes would or a full cat, and custom exhaust but I am not really after that. Thank you for all the input so far. So what brand?

Im looking at these. Cousin got a pair when he cracked a manifold on his Z71 pickup. Went on n worked fine. Plus they are 50 state legal which is nice since Im in Cali.
