Haha did you get it done? It’s best if you work with one headlight at a time. Cover the passenger side with a towel or such. You want the headlight right off the ground that shoots straight forward. Then work on the passenger and line it up with the driver.

Yeah, I only had to dial them up a small amount. The bigger issue is that the H11s are pretty mediocre. I've had to do this on several trucks and SUVs lately. The reason why I like to know the direction is so that I can mark it in the back of the owner manual in case I forget and have to make any small adjustments on the fly. Only ever had to do that on my Jeep Wranglers, so not very likely. When I would go wheeling sometimes the lights would get knocked out of adjustment. I doubt that will happen on the Z71.
