Hey guys, I am having one of those issues that is driving me nuts. I have a 1999 Yukon Denali that has headlight issues. Sometimes they work and most of the time they don't. A while back the lights went out after I heard some relay chatter from the left of the brake pedal area in the block that has three relays and some wire harnesses. Both of the light relays had the same number on them, but I don't think that it is correct. Aren't the fog and headlight relays right next to each other with a flasher relay next in line? If so, are the two relays different? A picture of the relays as they sit in the box with the numbers showing would be extremely helpful. Actually any help would be appreciated

Come on guys, need some help here. Can anyone post either a picture of the box as it sits in your truck, or a diagram of what components go where? This is the box mounted to the interior firewall just to the left of the brake pedal. Can anyone tell me what this box is even called? Three relays across the bottom and the other receptacles have wire connectors plugged into them.

Location
unknown at this time.
it is called a convenience center and it houses connection points as well as the the relays, fog lights, if installed, daytime running lights and turn signal flasher in that order. You are likely hearing the drl relay chattering and that is tied in with your headlight system. Your relay or drl module might be defective.

Headlight Issue resolved!!!

Thanks to everyone that responded to my plea for help. I ordered the proper 2 relays based on the convenience center image that I received. Replaced the relays, disconnected the two plugs to the mirror, and now I have full control of the headlights.

Many thanks!!!
