headlight upgrade?

the PO of my 03 z71 tahoe stripped out two of the adjustment screws on the headlight housings, so they'll need to be replaced.

i was wondering if there are any upgrades i should be looking at, or if the housings are pretty standard and should just keep my eyes open at the junk yard?

The best option for aftermarket are the Depo Headlights which can be purchased on Amazon/Ebay

I have Depos as well. The chrome ones vs the black ones that Stam2000 has. Nice look and output.

Been on the fence about upgrading my 03 Z71 head lights and these seem to be at the top of everyone's list. With them being projectors, are people running factory 9006 halogens or HID plug and play kits?

I used the bulbs that came with the Depo projectors. Not a bad output IMO.

I put morimoto 55w 5500k HID in the depo projectors on my tahoe. I left the halogen bulbs in the depos i put on a different car. Like fosscore said, still excellent output

With that being said would it be safe to say either or is a good choice but it falls on personal preference?

Run the halogens for a bit, if you think you need more, then upgrade to LED or HID

I'm actually using the Sylvania ZXE bulbs. Looks nice and does the job
