HI everyone I'm the newbie on the sight. Ive finally got a Tahoe wanted a 2 door but life happened so 4 is way more convenient. It's a 2000 z71 118K on the dash. I've been scanning around looking at post so far but it pretty hit and miss. I'm looking at getting some TYC headlights. From what I'm reading there are different models. I'll probably put HIDS in sooner or later looks like DDM is the way to go with those. But for now just clear housing would be awsome. I might even do a retro fit. So my questions are. I've seen different names after TYC like Crystal clears and such which is best for HIDS? Has anyone done a retro fi
t with TYC housings? If not the spyder projectors are not pretty good has anyone use them and done an exchange using the kit from the retro fit?Second I've only had my Hoe for almost a month. Has anybody put HIDS in the fog lights. Thanks for the help. I also work nights so if it takes me awhile to reply I'm probably sleep.

If you're asking which ones out of the box will work best with HIDs then the answer is none. All aftermarket lights should be easier than stock lights to get apart.

I've used hids in all types of ways. Good and bad. I use aftermarkets with glare caps they seem to help a bit. Also adjusting down some helps as well. I've used hids in my fogs for awhile now no problem.
