2000 Yukon. Turn signals have been acting wonky, flashing quickly and dim. Last night when we got in the headlights started flashing like hazards and all hazard turn lights are stuck on, in dash and actual truck. Any ideas?

Yea what he said bad ground. Also might be pinched wires or exposed wires
OK I've now found another symptom. When the car is in park the turn signals work fine. When the car is put in drive (with turn signal on) the turn signal starts blinking fast and dim. This sounds like a steering column issue possibly. The horn has quit working as well. Would a bad slip ring cause symptoms like this (If a Yukon HAS a slip ring)?

What's a slip ring? It's gonna be wih the wiring is my best bet. U might have a wire misplaced and when it changes from park to drive it could get pulled on causing the malfunction. That's my guess

clockspring gone bad? Or some other wires in the steering column area pinched

The clock spring would only effect, if installed, horn, air bag and steering wheel radio control. The lighting could be effected by the steering column multi-switch harness rubbing against the shifting mechanism. The head light brightness part in the unit is most likely shorting and as a result overloading the self resetting circuit breaker for the headlights. Remove the steering column covers and inspect the wires for chaffing, tears and what not from top to bottom.
