Headlights - HID vs LED

These headlights are sick

Function > Looks

Everyone says the HID headlights are better at lighting the road properly than the LED headlights.

I'd rather have it function better/properly over looking cool. They say the HID headlights function better than the LED headlights

I was. If you go to the Cadillac forums you'll see the big discussions they've had about them. The HID headlights are better at distributing light than the LED headlights. I like the look of the LED headlights, but I'd rather have a better functioning HID headlight than a cool looking LED headlight.

He is saying the hids are better, people who had hid and led reported that hids have better visibility

Heard that as well and definitley believe it as well

Led headlight tech as of now, puts out about the same amount of lumens as halogen, but as a white light rather than yellow. HIDs still have a lot more output, but in time and better heatsinking technology, on road led headlights will eventually catch up.
