What is the brightest headlights for an 07 Tahoe? Ive looked at autozone and such at for the most part it seems they all put out the same lumen. So it seems they are all the same brightness for the stock housing. Is this the case?

Sylvania zXe bulbs are the best and brightest you can get without a rerro fit.

The bulbs will last approximately a year and a few months at most. If that.

So does the Lumen being the same not matter for brightness?

Most people perceive "brightness" and a "whiter" light. The amount of actual lumens is less however. Also the "whiter" light seems to "disperse" more.

Guess Ill stick with whatever is in there lol. I may try the silverstars or something if the regular plain bulb is in it now. I think they are slightly brighter.

I did an led headlight bulb. Have had it for about 7 months now and absolutely love them. I know most will chime in and say big no no, but frankly it provides good output. Other drivers beware.

Before I had retrofit projectors/HID's, I had these and it went out in way less then a year.
