It's not too bad to remove, but you have to take the sunroof out to do it. There's 4 bolts that hold the glass panel in place, once that's out, there's 4 spring clips/guides that hold it into a track, just release them and it lifts up through the roof. Just make sure you mark where the bolts are sit on the mounting bracket, for the sunroof alignment.

Alright so i figured out how to take it out and u only need a torque heaf nut driver u push ur cover open there are 4 screws holdin the glass in place u take them loose the glass comes out then there is a drain cover that needs to come out and it just snaps in place there one clip on each side holdin itnin place then the cover comes out to put back in u do step backwards but when u align the sunroof loosly put the bolts in and push the sunroof flush with the roof on the out side and tighten down its simple takes 5 mins to take out amd put back in i put the glass back in without the cover cause the glue takes 24hours to cure

no problems with sun roof operation after you finished? I am leery of messing with the sun roof.

X2 I have dealt with a leaking sunroof on my car because I replaced the shade cover ended up taking silicone to fix the problem. I still don't like messing with them

I had a leaky sunroof when I started, I realigned the glass so it would seal the whole way around. It's been almost two years and no leaks since.

Not leaks or anything at all it works the same just looks alot better after the new sunshade headliner is put up i did put vasaline around the edges to loosen up the gaskets so they sit better it takes less then 5 minutes to take apart and 5 minutes to put back in the hardest part was puttin the headliner on the sunshade itsself i used a confederate flag for mine and it fit pretty good and sticks good with the orange headliner can from autozone

Does anybody have pics on info on what particular bolts need to be removed to uninstall the sunroof to complete the fix?
