Just a heads up. My voltmeter started jumping up and down 12 to 15 volts for no reason. I tested the battery, alternator and checked all cables for resistance and loose connections. Then I noticed when the A/C was off the voltmeter was steady. I ordered a new AC Delco blower motor from Rock Auto. While it was shipping the old blower motor stared screeching and did not want to start up. I just installed the new blower and now no more noise and no more fluctuating voltmeter. It's a 2002 Yukon Denali.

Don't rule out the heater - A/C blower motor if you start getting an erratic voltmeter. This started happening about three months ago. The motor didn't start making noise until a week ago. Great time to change the cabin air filters too.
