Heated seat problem

Hi all. I'm new to this forum. Was a 1999 Ford F250 diesel driver before I bought this 2010 Tahoe LT. First Chevy I've ever owned and still enjoy driving the vehicle after a year of owning it! Only problem is that the passenger heated seat lights come on at the door control then shut off after about 30 seconds. I'm a do it yourselver before I resort to having the stealer work on it. Can anyone give me some advice on where to start troubleshooting? I have a schematic of the front seats that shows a yellow wire as power to each heated seat element but cant even find that to check for an open current in the element itself. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Lots of discussion on this subject... under the passenger seat is a control module... it is common to find a burnt/melted pin on the connector.

What causes the pin to burn?

Not sure... dirty or loose connection... undersized terminal...
