Don’t bypass. Might get hotter than you want. Try a local u-pull yard.I think this is a thermistor, it has melted/broken and gm doesn’t sell replacement wiring harnesses anymore. Anyone have an idea on how I can replace this and retain my heated seats? This is a 2001 Yukon slt driver seat.

A basic resistor won’t work. The thermistor automatically adjusts resistance based on temperature and regulates the temp of the seat. Will need to find a used one or figure out if there is an aftermarket heated seat option. I’m gonna see what I can find as well.No u pulls in alaska, not having any luck on ebay. I was hoping someone had come up with a basic resistor to replace it.
