heated seats?

Has anyone ever installed heated seats in a 1996 Tahoe? If so, details?

I have installed after market seats on many vehicles. Are you just wanting something after market or something plug and play OE like

some have retrofitted them in their suv's. it went fine.

There are a few kits on ebay that run about 100 bucks. Its just a matter of taking the seat apart and wiring them up.

aftermarket will be most cost effective , is the wiring pretty basic ?

You essentially wire them up like you would a pair of off road headlights. Still just a switch, relay and a load the load in this case is a heater element you have installed in your seat instead of lights on the bumper. Pretty straight forward. That hardest part for me is always where to mount the switches.
