Thinking about ordering that replacement AlphaTherm unit to restore the heated washer fluid in my '07 Tahoe.

Those who have done it... do you like it and was it worth it?

Just google AlphaTherm. I had it in my Tahoe. Works just like the stock one they took out. I think it's around $200.

Will I have to remind the service techs not to remove it every time I have the vehicle serviced?

I'm assuming better safe than sorry...

I would think after the vehicles VIN is tagged that it has been done the technician isn’t going to go hunting for it. I just had my Denali in to replace the steering rack and they didn’t mess with it.
