After replacing I could immediately tell the difference on the heating

Blend doors....not expensive but a pain to get to.

When you did the thermostat, did you unplug the battery? Might try unplugging it for an hour or so and see if that solves it!

Blend doors - buried up in the dash. If memory serves me correct there are 3 of them, but I could be wrong. They divert the heat to the floor and/or the defroster vents. They are prone to getting stuck.

So which accuator controls the air temp? I thought it was the one down at the floor but the new accuator a bought didn't have the same pins on the plug? 2000 Tahoe LT. Air temp is cold or warm. That's it. Water temp running 208.
