For some reason or another, the heat and AC in my 97 tahoe are only blowing through the defrost setting no matter what setting that I have it on. My question is is it just a problem with the switch, or is there a bigger issue and is it something that I can fix myself. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

OBS Jedi-Do Good
either the head unit dial is broke or the door mode motor on the left side of hvac housing is broke or perhaps the wires between them. check the whit wire going to door motor for variable voltage as you move the dial. if the motor does not respond and the brown wire has 12 volts and the black is ground then he motor is bad. if no change on white wire control head is bad.
