Hey guys was curious what would you guys reccomend for a battery replacement in a 2004 chevy tahoe? has v8 4wd if that makes any difference. It has a bose speaker system in it, down the road im looking to put in lightbars on top and front, emergency lights in the grill, and change out the headlights and highbeams to brighter stuff. It has a dvd player in there in the back. Which battery would you guys get considering eventually would have all this extra stuff sucking power from it?

it seems Optima has good advertising, but most folks who have HAD ONE are not impressed, they don't seem to last more than ~3 years, but YMMV

I have had very good luck with optima batteries, my Yukon has a yellow top in it that used to power our camper. A few years ago Sams club stopped selling optima, but had duracell agm batteries so I decided to try one. I now have 2 of them in the camper, one in my wifes van and one in my pacifica. They are made by East Penn mfg (Deka). I will never buy a wet cell battery again. A group 34/78 is $130 at sams club.
