My 2004 Yukon started itself when I connected the battery cables, no key in ignition.

When I need to data log for tuning, I have 2 fuses I need to pull from my aftermarket remote start, or the tuner will not communicate with the ECU. I've done it a large number of times, but one time, while plugging the fuse back in, off she went. Thankfully, the fuses are under the dash, so I was sitting in the driver seat, but it surprised the heck out of me. Mine is a lot easier to explain than your issue though, unless you also have a remote start..?
