Hi forum. Joining for info and news about 2017 GMC Yukon Denali.

My wife's ride has thrown a shoe, or four. Just turned 113k, but over the past month or two the ride has deteriorated. Had a chance to ride with her today and when she went over a speed bump it felt like the rear end wanted to fall out. Nothing obviously loose or broken. Do see small amounts of oil leakage.

I have researched replacements and plan to go with AC Delco unless there are better options. Am pretty confident in the ability to change them all out. Several questions before I start.

1) Any fuses, relays or control modules to check as well? I do see some oil leakage, and pretty sure I did well getting over 100k from what I read, but would like to know I covered everything.
2) If it all points to just hardware do I go ahead and change the compressor while I'm at it?
3) Know I need an alignment after. Should I replace any other front suspension parts while I'm at it?
4) Best place to find reasonable priced replacements. So far it's Rock Auto at $411.79 each ( $1647 total)

There are Rock Auto Discount codes on here that people post, be sure to look for that.
I don’t think you need to do an alignment after shocks as they are bolt on, bolt off. Unless the last alignment was done with the blown shocks and it’s super out of alignment?

As for front suspension pieces, check for wear on bushings and tie rods would be my recommendation. 100k isn’t bad but others will comment too. Really depends on use and abuse lol
