Hello all. I've been lurking here for a little over a year now and figured I'd finally say hello :) I'm from Michigan, just outside of Detroit. I'm married with two kids anyhow I have a 2001 yukon sle 4x4. I found her 9 months ago and it was a long and sorted ordeal. Long story short I was suckered into and abused truck that has 200k on it when the previous owner had changed the cluster to say 125k. So after a long laundry list of major repairs and minor modifications my truck is finally shaping up to be what I wanted it to be. Here's some pics. And thanks for having me. :)

Looks like a clean Yukon sorry to hear about your troubles with it. Hopefully it'll be all good since hopefully all the bugs are out of it :)

Thanks man it's coming along. Got some rust issues here and there and normal dents to be dealt with. Idle is a little funky at times but it's come a long way.

It looks pretty clean I like the NNBS GMC wheels on there it looks sharp. When I bought my Tahoe from the used car lot it had 291,000 miles on it and I changed the oil it started knocking bad I think they ran a 50 weight oil in it to keep it quiet but I drove it till about 294,000 before I changed the engine out to a 5.3 out of a 05 avalanche that got rear ended engine only had 54,000 miles on it. I love my Tahoe its definitely been a good one after doing a engine swap. Nice thing about these is parts are pretty easy to find and cheap for the most part :)

So far....
Fuel pump
Water Pump
Lower ball joints
Intake gaskets
Oil pressure switch
Knock sensors
Rear main and cover gaskets
Oil pan gasket
U joints
Plugs and wires

Seems like I'm missing some things... I did some evap odds and ends too along with rear brakes a couple weeks back..... and this was all before mods. Lol

Really it's all good in the end. I still have a nice truck done my way that I can now depend on. I love it personally.
