Hello Everyone! I'm an owner of a 2010 Chevy Tahoe - how to program folding mirrors

I have a tech 2 and would like to program folding mirrors, what need I do?

mine came with folding mirrors already so I have not done it but I would guess you might try going into the door switch settings and learn the mirrors to the vin
but it's possible you may have to do it with tisweb, pay the $45 for 2 years programming and then scan the calibrations and then poke around in tiswb and see if gives you the option to enable the mirrors with a calibration file
any idea @swathdiver ?

The Tech 2 Pathing document shows many tests that are available for the Tech 2 to test power windows. However, the Tech 2 does work off the truck's VIN, and if the truck did not come with power windows, I'm not sure that it will be helpful to you. Others will chime in with their perspectives.

Might need a vin with the options you want, and one of the other programmers..

Check your doors for the wiring, there were about 10 extra wires for the folding/puddle-lights/position-memory..
It maybe easier to get a door module pre-programmed than deal with programming..

You will have to change the door modules to ones from a truck with power folding.

I got lucky! changed the door modules replaced the manual mirrors and woah-la! they fold in, just like my 05 Tahoe, only thing is the driver side doesn't fold as well as the passenger side, can this be adjusted and how?
