Hello from Mass

Hi everyone. Just bought myself a 1999 Tahoe. It's the LT trim with all the options, 167k miles, and purchased for $1800. Truck came from down south so there's barely any rust underneath and the body and rockers are rust free.

My name is Matt, I'm 21 and from south east Massachusetts. I go to school for electrical engineering. My father has been a mechanic for 35 years so I've been working on cars for my most my life.

My previous car was...yes...a 1996 Ford Explorer with a 5.0 V8. She lasted for 225k before she need a front suspension overhaul. Only engine I like as much as the 5.7 is the Ford 5.0.

Welcome. I'm also from mass and as a matter of fact I think that was one of the trucks I was looking at on craigslist to replace my current tahoe. If I remember right it was in Saugus next to hockey town. Nice looking truck.

Thanks guys and yes that's the exact one. I've been jumping through hoops trying to get it, but finally did. Tires are junk and it needs an idler arm and an alignment bad, but other than that not too bad.
