About to rename this site NJtahoeyukonforum

That works for me.

Welcome to the site Dan. I have family in Lumberton, Washington, and Mt Laurel so I know the area. Just clicked over to 30k on my 17 Burb and no issues that are apparent with boom buffeting from 15 & 16 models. As others have stated, I would avoid the 15's.

Id go ‘16(even ‘17-‘18) and stay awY from ‘15 models jmho

10 speed is the best transmission of the 3.

for your hoe/kon...
do as much city &highway driving as you can...at varying speeds (20-80ish mph) to check for booming / buffeting
check the front shocks for leaks & all suspension bushings
make sure you get ALL service records & have your mechanic check it out , if possible
make sure all TSBs have been handled, couple to look for A/C condenser & torque converter (shuttering issue)
check for leaks in head liner from the roof antennae

the extra power from a 6.2 will be noticeable compared to 5.3. although the 5.3 will still do good work
