Had a 2009 Tahoe LTZ 5.3, loved it, was going to be our forever vehicle till an incident put it on an insurance claim. They bought it and then we were down to just our 05 CC dually 6.6 duramax. I was ok with that but the bride said she wanted to replace the Tahoe. Was just going to replace with the same, but this will now be our forever unit so started looking and driving everything from late July thru late Sept. Those salesmen can sure be pushy and desperate... Finally settled on a new Yukon Denali. We have a 27" (22' inside) Enclosed car trailer and anything smaller than full size is not up to the mission. Then in late Sept '25 were told that to order one, the wait would be anywhere from 3-10 months, possibly longer. Yeah, was not gonna do that. Started contacting dealers, started reading who was recommending what dealers and had several discussions with Laura Buick GMC and seeing how the pricing worked, the fly out / drive back (Thinking dead of winter) or cost to ship, could probably do same or better in the NW Region. Several people spoke highly of Robideaux in Cour d' Alene ID. Called them several times, struck up a deal and the waiting started.
Turned out we were gonna to do just that and play the waiting game.
