I figure this site is like the most car forums ( can't search until you surpass a certain number of post ) I need a little help I thought about purchasing this 94 chevy blazer/tahoe off a friend of mine. I googled and googled but no success on finding prone issues with these babies. Does anyone know of the know issues with this truck? What should I look out for? Things I plan on doing to her would be getting a body and lift kit but I am new to rigs so I would like to get good brands for this job. At this present time the 2door is getting painted two tone ( silver top and Navy bottom ) with flake hopefully. Also has anyone attempted to put a third row in these babies. I was thinking captains middle and bench rear. Is this possible? Any info is greatly appreciated.. Thanks guys and thanks again for welcoming me to my new home.

Welcome to the forum Dontay. For the most part the Tahoe is a pretty sound vehicle with not a lot of prone issues. The biggest two I am aware of is that the fuel pumps tend to go bad (mine included) and you end up with a fuel gauge reading incorrectly some of the time or bouncing needle. The other I know of is that the transmissions tend to go out from anywhere between 125k-200k.
