Man...i haven't been to Miami in 15 years. I need to get back out there.
Do not come down in the summer months. Heat index of 112+ every single day. My central a/c never shuts off. Forecasters said from now on it will be that way and worse every year. Looking to sell my condo in the spring [if not before] and go back to New Jersey or Queens. I would rather have cold weather and snow then this.

It was always nasty in the summer months but it got a lot worse with no light at the end of the tunnel.

its been 95-105 here...with heat indexes from 100 to 110'ish. I remember Florida when i was a kid...i was fun being in the sun and heat...now, i'm gettin' old...and the heat sucks....lol. We used to go the the 'Glades all the time and we visited an aunt in the Keys.

Sweltering here at 86.

Last year at this time I was supposed to move back to Mo. and live with my cousin in Warrensburg, Mo. I decided to stay here with my girl in Oregon. My cousin had lived in Paradise, Ca. and it could get hot at times there but the humidity was low. She is still getting used to the heat and humidity in Mo. She spends a lot of time in her central air.

I just lost my best friend who lived in Warrensburg Mo....he was a disabled military veteran who had a shop building Hot-Rods before he passed away. My wife and i met when we lived in Oceanside Ca. which is at the opposite end of the state from Paradise. It was a great place to grow up in the 80's...but i'm glad I'm not there anymore.

Dump some transmission fluid yearly down the fenders, doors, quarter panels and everywhere else you can reach or get to. It will keep that rust away. I did that to my old Fairlanes and Chevelles with factory paint, ran them through the winters and they are still rust free to this day (with different owners) all while in Topeka.
