I have been reading this forum for a while, but just joined. First post.
96 2 door 4WD Tahoe with 6" body and 285/75/16.
Just at 200K miles and currently in the shop for a motor rebuild.

You guys have some pretty awsome Hoes and looking forward to a lot good dialog and information.

First thing i want to do, is remove the 3" body lift and go to a true suspension lift (4-6").
Does anyone out their have their old body mount bolts?
Or know where i can get a new set of stock body mount bolts?

Steve

:welcome: from another Texan
Lmc truck sells all the oem parts but someone on here should have a set of stock body mounts you could use.

Welcome to the forums!

I don't have a set of mounts but as Destroyer said it's highly likely someone will.

Welcome to the site!

Also...dont remove the body lift..theres nothing wrong with them...continue with your plans on installing a 4-6 inch suspension lift...body lifts aren't weak...

3 body and 6 suspension would be a nice 9 inch lift...plus 3-4 inches from tires...12-13 inches of total lift! :)

also, if your worried about the visible gap between frame and body, theres some real nice "gap guards"! :)
