Just to clarify, you won't need to "purchase" a cable, just a deposit which will be refunded when you return it.

If you had ABS issues before in the rain, sounds like it is something that you may have magnified with the BBK.

The noise as smell you are experiencing is the black coating on the brakes burning off. It will make a noise for awhile till its all burned off then go away.

You should just have a local shop bleed your brakes. You might have air bubbles in the lines.

Both Mr Robbie and Trick have great ideas :waytogo: Jenna does as well if you're wanting to do a self diagnosis on the light :)

Well the noise sounds like it's coming from the engine bay around the belts when ever I hit the brakes or turn the steering wheel an so is the smell but more towards the battery, brake fluid reservoir I'm not to sure if these issue were always there and I just noticed it but I figured I'll throw it on there.I'm really thinking the brakes need a professional bleed due to the fact that the lines were disconnect for over 24hrs mainly the rear.

I had. Similar issue with my Baer brakes. It is because you had them disconnect for that long. Basically need a electric pump or something long that line to be able to cler it out. But mine issue was I just could never get the air out.

Yup that's what the mechanic said to much air got into the lines from being disconnected to long an the normal bleeding method was not good enough and as far as the noise I was hearing came from air in the system.I thought the brakes were working fine before man was I wrong stops on a dime worth every penny extremely noticeable difference.
